More WSN/33 Interest in P.R. China

The H5 sequences on a South Korean farm increase concern regarding WSN/33 sequences in H1N1 and H9N2 isolates on farms. Concern over WSN/33 was again published in the Peoples Republic of China at the Flu Information Centre (FIC) website in Zhejiang.
There still has been no official comments from WHO or FAO on these sequences, although they gave been publicly available for 3 weeks and appear to be cause for concern.
